Protection and care of any personal information that you provide to Xer's Classic Rock Piano Room is a top priority for us.

We agree not to rent, sell or share any of the personally identifiable information (PII) you give us with anyone unless we are legally required to do so...  We do not collect or store any birth dates, SSN#s or credit card information on this site.
 
We may use the email or mailing address that you provide to us in order to send you one offer or an announcement, but we guarantee you will not be added to any automated email subscriptions from our company or our partners.  We offer an opt out feature by contact ID, which is usually an account, web user ID and email address combination for any registered users. 

We do not consider IP addresses, browser software metadata and network handle broadcast names (given freely by network access points) that are collected in our logs, as private or personally identifiable information (PII).  We collect this information automatically as a part of our efforts to detect invalid links and to identify sources of malicious traffic.  We also use the logs to create stats related to use of the site, so that we can learn about which sections of the site are the most popular.  These logs do not contain literal copies of your name, address, interests or comments (information you may have provided at registration or for your Web User profile).  If you sign in, your User ID is included in one of the columns in the logs but no other data.  Important to note, we won't use your past history to influence what we show to you during future visits. 

However, we may publish your IP address, browser metadata and network handle (non-PII info) as follows...  If you tie up our site with malicious requests or make a high percentage of invalid or obsolete information gathering attempts (such as mining for hidden data or sub-level process triggers or accessing superceded page names or guessing about where pages might be), we may publish your IP address, browser signature and/or network handle in a Visitors of Dubious Distinction list page.  In this case, you may contact us to request removal from the list(s) or better yet, to supply an exclusion message for your robots or to visit actual pages on the site (which will decrease the percentage of invalid requests).

We do not to place any ad or site navigation preference cookies on your computer at this time.  

We reserve the right to terminate your account access if we determine that action is necessary based on specific and substantial reasons.  We don't want to do this, we instead want to attract users and spread the word.  If you appeal the termination of access, we will consider your appeal.
